Precautions

Drug Interaction
Pariet may interact with other medications, including antifungal medications, HIV/AIDS medications, and other medications used to treat stomach acid. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you are taking, including vitamins and supplements. Do not start taking a new medication without consulting your doctor first.
Missed Dose
If you miss a dose of Pariet, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take your next dose at the regular time. Do not take two doses of Pariet at the same time.
Overdose
If you think you have taken too much of this medication, contact your doctor or go to the nearest emergency room right away. Symptoms of an overdose may include: nausea, vomiting, and stomach pain.
Storage
Store Pariet at room temperature away from moisture, heat, and light. Do not store this medication in the bathroom. Keep this medication out of the reach of children.
