Buy Pariet: Everything You Need to Know

Pariet is a prescription medication used to treat certain conditions related to stomach acid production, such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Rabeprazole, the active ingredient in Pariet, works by decreasing the amount of acid produced in the stomach. This medication is available in the form of tablets and is available in different strengths. Pariet is also available as generic rabeprazole.

Common Use

Pariet is used to treat the symptoms of GERD, as well as other conditions that cause too much stomach acid such as Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome. It can also be used to treat and prevent ulcers and can be used to reduce the risk of stomach cancer caused by long-term use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).

Dosage and Direction

Pariet should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor. The usual dose is 20-40mg per day. This medication should be taken before a meal, preferably in the morning. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.

Precautions

It is important to tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. Pariet should not be taken if you are allergic to rabeprazole or any of the inactive ingredients in the medication. Tell your doctor if you have any other medical conditions, especially liver disease, or if you are taking any other medications, vitamins, or supplements.

Contraindications

Pariet should not be used if you have any of the following: liver or kidney disease, porphyria, a history of Long QT syndrome, or if you are taking any of the following medications: atazanavir, carbamazepine, phenobarbital, phenytoin, rifampin, St. John’s wort, tacrolimus, or voriconazole.

Possible Side Effects

Common side effects of Pariet include: headache, nausea, stomach pain, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, dizziness, and rash. If any of these side effects persist or worsen, contact your doctor. Serious side effects may include: chest pain, fast or irregular heartbeat, seizure, and signs of an allergic reaction such as rash, itching, or swelling of the face.

Drug Interaction

Pariet may interact with other medications, including antifungal medications, HIV/AIDS medications, and other medications used to treat stomach acid. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you are taking, including vitamins and supplements. Do not start taking a new medication without consulting your doctor first.

Missed Dose

If you miss a dose of Pariet, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take your next dose at the regular time. Do not take two doses of Pariet at the same time.

Overdose

If you think you have taken too much of this medication, contact your doctor or go to the nearest emergency room right away. Symptoms of an overdose may include: nausea, vomiting, and stomach pain.

Storage

Store Pariet at room temperature away from moisture, heat, and light. Do not store this medication in the bathroom. Keep this medication out of the reach of children.
